“Now Boarding,” the 2016 production from Minnesota Brass began its journey on Saturday, January 2 during our audition camp in Brooklyn Center. Even if you missed takeoff on Saturday, you can still print your boarding pass at home to join us on the next leg of our trip. Horn and percussion auditions continue on Wednesday evening, February 10 at Brooklyn Center High School. Our departure time is 6:30 p.m. Bring a friend and pack comfortably for an evening rehearsal including music and movement.
In addition, Minnesota Brass is excited to announce the continuation of our long-standing relationship with Dynasty USA for our battery and front line percussion equipment Our arrangement with Dynasty allows the drum corps and Minnesota Brass Indoor to perform on all new battery equipment each season.
In 2016 the corps will also be replacing our entire line of percussion keyboard equipment through Dynasty USA including an entire new set of Bergerault, Rosewood marimbas, Bergerault vibes and a Bergerault pedal glockenspiel. This equipment is currently being manufactured in France for Minnesota Brass in time for our 2016 performances!

This Thursday, November 12th is Give to the Max Day 2015, when Minnesota non-profits engage in a state-wide, single-day fundraising drive. That evening we will be presenting Brass to the Max 2015 at Ol’ Mexico, 1754 Lexington Ave. N., St. Paul, from 7-9:30PM which will feature the first public viewing of our 2015 DCA performance of “Mad Circus” complete with massive, high quality audio! We will also show our other recent DCA performances, have drawings for drum corps prizes, and test your Minnesota Brass knowledge with trivia questions. It’s bingo, it’s fashionable, it’s great fun. Head on over to Roseville this Tuesday, February 2nd for another edition of Coach Purse Bingo!
The action starts at 6:30 p.m. at Joe Senser’s (2350 Cleveland Ave. N., Roseville) Cards cost $20 for the first set of six cards and $4 for an additional set of three cards. You’ll play ten different bingo games and have a shot at winning Coach purses as prizes. The more people who play, the more expensive the prize! (Must be 18 or older to play.)
