Wil Furnstahl has over 25 years experience performing, teaching and judging color guard, marching band and drum corps. He’s served as Color Guard Director for Minnesota Brass since 2011 for both the drum corps and winter guard - earning the top color guard award at the DCA World Championships in 2011 and silver medal at the 2017 WGI World Championships along with numerous other awards and accolades around the region. He’s also served on the North Star Color Guard Circuit board of directors for 15 years in various roles and currently as Vice-President.
Jared is a graduate of Hastings High School where he participated in the Hastings Color Guard program. He went on to march at Chops, True North Winter Guard, Lux Winter Guard and Minnesota Brass. He's taught color guard programs throughout the state of Minnesota and is currently the Color Guard Director at Eden Prairie High School where he runs the successful fall marching band program and three winter guards.
Aaron is a graduate from Hastings High School and began his marching career with the Hastings Marching Band. He's taught and consulted at numerous programs around the state and is currently a color guard staff member with the Eden Prairie Color Guard program.
Paige began her color guard career at Forest City High School and continued marching through college at the University of Northern Iowa. She went on to march 3 summers with the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps before relocating to Minnesota from Iowa in December, 2012. Other marching experience includes Minnesota Brass Drum and Bugle Corps, True North Winter Guard, and LUX Winter guard. Paige is currently leading the color guard at Anoka High School.
Mary attended Irondale High School 2004-2008, where she participated in fall marching band, winter drumline, and winter guard. She joined the Minnesota Brass summer color guard in 2009 and marched 6 summers. Mary is a past member of MBI Winter Guard, marching in 2011, 2012, and aging out in 2013. She has been on staff at MBI since 2014.
