We got a Bingo!

Join the fun this CoachlogoTuesday, March 3, for another edition of Coach Purse Bingo. Bring your friends and support Minnesota Brass as you play to win authentic Coach purse prizes.

The action starts at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Joe Senser’s Sports Theater (2350 Cleveland Ave. N., Roseville). There will be 10 games; cards cost $20 for the first set of six cards and $4 for an additional set of three cards. (Players must be 18 or older.)

It’s always a fun night, and who knows?  You could be a lucky winner! Regardless of the outcome, you’ll be supporting Minnesota Brass and enjoying a fun night with friends.

Warm up with ‘Firefly’

MBI Winter Guard, the winter color guard contingent of Minnesota Brass, hosts its fifth anniversary show at St. Paul’s Highland Park High School on Saturday, Feb. 7. The performances begin at 6:30 p.m.

Sounds of Minnesota: Winter Edition will feature eight competing color guards, as well as exhibitions by MBI Winter Guard and Minnesota Brass Indoor, the winter percussion ensemble. Competing units include color guards from Burnsville, Coon Rapids, Eden Prairie, Henry Sibley, Park Center and Rosemount high schools and the Synergy and River Valley winter guards. Minnesota Brass Indoor is proud to announce their 2015 production, “Cold Blooded.”

Across eons, Earth has gone through countless transformations. The Earth we know today is only a blink in the timeline of its existence. As our planet has changed its inhabitants have evolved with it, and humans are no exception. What forms could Earth take in the future? How might humans evolve to adapt to a changing environment? Minnesota Brass Indoor imagines one possible future in their 2015 program “Cold Blooded.”

MBI Settles into 2015 Rehearsal Season

After a fantastic kick off to the 2015 season during our audition weekend in January, Minnesota Brass is ready to get back to work. Rehearsals for the hornline and drumline resume Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Brooklyn Center High School (6500 Humboldt Ave. N., Brooklyn Center, MN 55430) starting at 6:30 p.m.  (Color guard rehearsals will begin in April).

Prospective hornline and drumline members should attend Wednesday night rehearsals, even if they were unable to attend the audition camp. There will be plenty of time to review details about corps membership, schedules and costs during these weekly rehearsals.  Would-be members who have a conflict should email membership@mnbrass.org as soon as possible.
