I am a former MBI member (1986 – 2003), colorguard, hornline and board member – wanted to share something about a former member.
Mexico City – Blue Devils – Minnesota Brass,,,,hard to believe that these three entities are connected.
Karen Mazanec, former soprano from mid-90’s, is giving a tour of Mexico City today to the Blue Devils high horn instructor (trumpeter) James Rocillo. Karen lives in Mexico City, married a Mexican and teaches English to students at a private university in Mexico City. She also plays her trumpet in some local groups. She will probably report her experience on Facebook, so you might want to check it out
